To the many Madisonhealth volunteers who helped at the Whoopee Days rodeo at the county fairgrounds on June 27, an afternoon of fun and games was capped by an emotional, memorable spin around the arena.

June 27 was Cancer Awareness Night at the rodeo. The railings were adorned in pink, and a beautiful slide presentation, with personal testimonials from multiple Madisonhealth Cancer Care patients, was presented on the huge Jumbotron for the subdued and appreciative, sold-out audience to take in.
Madisonhealth staffed three booths at the event, with raffle prizes, face paintings, twist animal balloons, SWAG giveaways, and lots of brochures and rack cards. Most or all of the employees of the Cancer Care and Infusion Therapy department were in attendance, along with a large number of BYU-Idaho nursing students and the entire Marketing department.

At dusk, many of the staff members moved into the arena, where three flatbed trailers, filled with Madisonhealth employees and cancer survivor patients, were slowly driven around the inner perimeter, twice, in front of the enthusiastic crowd.
It was truly a night to remember, an occasion on which to feel proud to belong to an organization which truly works to prolong, and enhance, the lives of those around us.
