Erin Benson, FNP, begins work at Seasons Family Medicine

Erin Benson, FNP, a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience, has joined the team at Seasons Family Medicine to work with Dr. Michael Packer and Travis Weiszhaar as a vital connection between Seasons and the patients at various skilled nursing and assisted living locations, including Temple View, Carriage Cove, Ashton Living Center, and Homestead Assisted Living, among others. Her clinical focus includes geriatric assessments and chronic condition management, with an emphasis on high-quality, individualized care.

Erin began her nursing career in 2004 and has since worked across a wide range of clinical settings. Her growing passion for long-term care and gerontology led her to complete her MS in Nursing at Herzing University in 2024. She became licensed as a nurse practitioner in March 2025, certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

“Providing care that promotes independence, privacy, and dignity for patients in nursing facilities is incredibly important to me,” says Erin.

A lifelong resident of southeast Idaho, Erin is proud to serve the community she calls home. Along with her husband and kids, Erin enjoys the many outdoor recreational opportunities our beautiful community provides, including hiking, kayaking, and mountain biking.
