A new addition to the Cancer Care team: Hyrum Prestwich, NP-C

Hyrum Prestwich, NP-C, is a certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in medical oncology. A Rigby native, Hyrum brings both expertise and heart to his role — combining a strong clinical foundation with a deep-rooted commitment to the community he calls home.

Hyrum completed both his undergraduate and graduate nursing studies at Brigham Young University and began his career in critical care and oncology nursing. His clinical experience, paired with a passion for delivering outstanding patient care, makes him a valuable addition to the Madisonhealth Cancer Care team.

“It’s an honor to care for patients during some of their most vulnerable moments,” he says. “I strive to provide high-quality care that’s not only evidence-based, but also rooted in empathy and understanding.”

Hyrum will be seeing patients at Madisonhealth’s Cancer Care center, located in the hospital. He is honored to serve the people of southeast Idaho and proud to practice in his home state.

Outside of work, Hyrum enjoys spending time with his wife and children, exploring the outdoors, and embracing all the natural beauty Idaho has to offer.
